Boxing

Boxing is a combat sport in which two participants wearing protective gloves and other equipment engage in a contest of strength, speed, reflexes, and endurance. The objective is to score points by landing punches on the opponent’s torso and head, with the bout typically taking place in a boxing ring. Matches are divided into rounds, and a variety of weight classes exist to ensure fair competition. Boxing has a rich history as a means of both self-defense and entertainment and is governed by established rules and regulations to promote safety and sportsmanship. Boxers can win by knockout (KO), technical knockout (TKO), or by scoring more points than their opponent at the end of the fight. The sport requires physical fitness, strategic thinking, and skillful technique.
